About the Role As a developer and technician at Technichus, you'll have a varied and creative role. Your work includes both digital and practical construction. You'll also perform maintenance, service, and repair of existing exhibitions and technical installations. The role also requires the ability to solve technical problems under time pressure and troubleshoot even without drawings available. You need to be creative and technically skilled and will work with movement and kinetics. You have knowledge of microcontrollers such as Arduino, single-board computers like Raspberry Pi, and can create simple circuits for the experiment stations we build. To succeed in this role, it's important to prioritize and meet deadlines. You'll be part of an exhibition team with an exhibition producer, carpenter, teacher, and coordinator, and you'll collaborate closely with colleagues to generate ideas and develop new experiment stations. Therefore, it's important that you can work both independently and in a group and stay updated on general technical developments. Qualifications We're looking for someone with: Several years of work experience in relevant areas. Strong competence in technology, construction, and problem-solving. Strong competence in electronics and mechatronics. Strong competence in programming and CAD. Knowledge of woodworking machinery, 3D printing, laser cutting, CNC milling. A creative and innovative mindset. A portfolio showing what you have previously constructed. Meritorious: Post-secondary education we deem relevant, for example in interaction design, technology, or engineering. Knowledge of AI, AR, and VR. Knowledge of the Pixilab Blocks software tool. Experience in project management. Knowledge of accessibility adaptation of public environments.
