We are now recruiting a Social Secretary for the Intimate Partner Violence Team First-Line Social Services Haninge Municipality was early in establishing a First-Line Social Service. In First Line, we have brought together early and preventive advice and support services with the goal of offering municipal residents help at an early stage so that serious problems can be prevented. We should be close to municipal residents and it should be easy to contact social services. One of many activities within First-Line Social Services is the Intimate Partner Violence Team. Your Assignment As a social secretary in the Intimate Partner Violence Team, your main task is to offer support to abused and abusive adults so they can live a life free from violence. The assignment includes providing advice and support to, and investigating applications for support and protection from, people who are abused or abusive in a close relationship or in an honor-based context. People exposed to prostitution and human trafficking for sexual purposes are also part of the target group. You work with motivation work, authority exercise, and individual support conversations based on the conversation models Talk About Freedom/Talk About Violence. Continuous safety assessments and security planning are part of the work. The assignment also includes having a child focus and assessing consequences for any children in decisions. You collaborate with internal and external partners based on current needs. By combining authority exercise and conversation support within the same team, we offer short decision-making paths and cohesive support for the target group. What We're Looking For in You We are looking for you with experience working with the target group as well as experience in authority exercise and support conversation work. We place great importance on professional treatment of our citizens, partners, and each other. We are constantly developing our activities and you are expected to actively participate in driving and developing work toward set goals within the team. For the position, you must have: A degree in Social Work or other university education deemed equivalent Experience working with abused and abusive people Experience in authority exercise Experience working with support conversations It is meritorious if you have: Training in Talk About Violence and Talk About Freedom Training in FREDA Training in PATRIARK Experience working with ISU Experience working with FIT (Feedback Informed Treatment) Your Competencies: The assignment involves partially working with acute situations, which requires that you are flexible and can organize, set boundaries, and prioritize in your tasks. Haninge Municipality is a forward-thinking municipality. In 2023, we were among the first municipalities to establish a first and second-line social service, a step in our adaptation to the future of social services and the new Social Services Act. In our operations, we meet children who need coordinated and comprehensive interventions preceded by investigation. In our work, we start from a target group focus in which we investigate and coordinate interventions based on evidence and knowledge-based methods and in collaboration with other societal actors. The operations consist of four units: a children's unit, a youth unit, a unit for interventions and specialist functions, and a unit for foster care and contact services. Each unit is led by a unit manager and the teams are led by team leaders. We work in a family-oriented and team-based manner for the best interests of our children and young people. Specialist social workers with a cross-operational mandate for areas such as methodology support, implementation, introduction, and ongoing training. A structured onboarding plan for new employees. Operations developers to support our continued development with target group-oriented working methods. SIP coordinators to support strengthening the quality of SIP meetings and ensure that children and young people who need it are offered SIP meetings. Placement coordinators to support finding external placement options and managing agreements. Administrators tasked with relieving and supporting social workers. Structured assessment tools with risk and needs assessments to identify and prevent children from becoming involved in crime. A structure that enables remote work for those who wish it and based on operational needs. Your Assignment Social worker within investigation 0-17 years, with a focus on young people at risk of crime. You investigate children and young people's need for protection and support, and follow up on approved interventions. We work in close collaboration with the child, their network, school, and police. The work is supported by BBIC, SAVRY/EARL, and Signs of Safety. The work includes close collaboration with internal and external partners. The team, Young People at Risk of Crime, has existed since 2019 and the caseworkers have good experience in social work and with the target group. The work requires adaptability as both working methods and approaches develop as new laws and regulations are adopted, or new research is released. Your Qualifications Degree in Social Work Experience, at least one year, of work within social services authority, the field of children and young people 0-17 years Ability to organize, plan, and coordinate work Correct Swedish in speech and writing Knowledge of BBIC and Signs of Safety Training in SAVRY/EARL is a merit A driver's license is desirable Your Competence As a social worker with us, it is of course that you enjoy collaboration with others but also that you can work independently. You find it easy to build good relationships and you are clear in your communication. You have good knowledge of relevant legislation, child development, and keep up with current research.
