JOB DUTIES As a social services case officer at the Social Services Unit, you'll join an experienced and engaged team of seven case officers. We work as a cohesive team with close collaboration, knowledge sharing, and strong collegial support. The role involves varied and specialized work where you'll have the opportunity to develop alongside experienced colleagues. For the right candidate, there are excellent opportunities to eventually take on the role of LINK Coordinator for the unit. This involves expanded and exciting responsibility for coordinating, developing, and ensuring quality in our work with the discharge module LINK, as well as serving as the unit's key contact in collaboration with the region and health and medical services. As a social services case officer, you exercise authority under the Social Services Act (SoL). You independently manage the entire case processing process, from application and investigation to assessment, decision, and follow-up. Your tasks include: • Processing applications and services according to SoL. • Investigating and assessing individual needs based on personal circumstances. • Making legally sound decisions and following up on approved services. • Collaborating with both internal and external professionals and stakeholders. • Contributing to legally secure and high-quality case processing focused on the individual's needs. • If assuming LINK responsibility: serving as super user for the discharge module, supporting colleagues in the safe discharge process, and monitoring and implementing new procedures and regulatory requirements related to collaboration in discharge from inpatient care. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone with a degree in social work, or alternatively other equivalent education that we consider relevant for the position. You have experience investigating individuals with mental and physical disabilities according to IBIC. You have solid knowledge of applicable legislation, experience with documentation, and strong communication skills both verbally and in writing. It is highly meritorious if you have previous experience working with LINK and a strong interest in the discharge process, collaboration issues, and the digital workflow between the municipality and region. To be successful in this role, you must be stable and confident in yourself, contribute to a good collaborative climate, and be empathetic and clear in your interactions with service users. It's also important that you have good judgment, a structured work approach, and the ability to independently manage your processes. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
