Your New Workplace The Reception Group is often people's first contact with the social services. We handle incoming reports and conduct preliminary assessments. The unit also manages acute situations, which can involve home visits in acute family situations or immediate support to adults with substance abuse issues. The Reception Unit handles and exercises authority according to SoL, LVU, and LVM and is responsible for receiving reports concerning both children and adults. Reception Family and Adult are part of the Individual and Labor Market Administration's child track. Here, 13 social secretaries, one coordinator, one administrator, and one unit manager work together. We use the 6.2 working time model with the possibility of remote work. The work is varied and stimulating, and we are now seeking an additional social secretary for daytime duty to expand our work group. As a social secretary in the Reception Group, you join a secure and knowledgeable work group where people care for each other and where we view different skills as an asset and strength. We offer regular supervision in social law and process supervision for your professional development. How You Contribute in the Role of Social Secretary As a social secretary, you are responsible for handling incoming reports and applications concerning both children and adults. The Reception Group conducts preliminary assessments, and after investigation begins, cases are forwarded to investigation teams. The work also includes acute placements of children and adults, statements to various authorities, and placements of victims of violence during on-call hours. Within the Reception Group is the municipality's Social On-Call service, which is staffed by social secretaries working according to day, evening, and weekend schedules. In cases of illness or leave, it is desirable that the entire Reception Group can help cover the on-call duty. Therefore, there is a possibility to work evening hours on occasional occasions when needed.
