About the Company Ånge Fastighets- och Industri AB (ÅFA) is Ånge Municipality's wholly owned property company and the municipality's public housing provider. The company manages approximately 800 residential apartments and around 65,000 sqm of facilities for municipal operations, such as schools and care facilities, as well as commercial spaces. Job Responsibilities As a project manager, you have overall responsibility for leading, planning, and monitoring building and maintenance projects within the organization. You ensure that projects are executed efficiently, in a structured manner, and with high quality – from the early stages to completion. The role combines operational work with leadership, where you are responsible for creating structure, prioritizing the right initiatives, and driving projects forward. You work closely with both internal functions and external partners, which requires strong coordination and communication skills. You are responsible for implementing primarily renovation and maintenance projects and drive the entire process – from planning to completion. In the role, you have overall responsibility for ensuring that projects meet established goals related to time, budget, quality, environment, and work environment. As a project manager, you also have personnel responsibility for the company's maintenance team, which currently consists of five employees in trades such as carpentry and tiling, and you actively work to lead, develop, and monitor the team. Key Responsibilities: Lead and allocate work and ensure efficient resource use Take responsibility for employees' work environment Ensure financial monitoring, including budget control and attestation Participate in and contribute to work with maintenance plans Plan, drive, and follow up projects based on time, budget, and quality Coordinate internal and external stakeholders in projects Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities Relevant education in construction, property management, or equivalent experience At least five years of experience in the construction or property industry Experience leading and supervising others Experience with cost estimation and financial monitoring Good knowledge of construction contracts (AB/ABT) B-class driver's license Merits Experience as a work supervisor, site manager, or similar within the construction sector Experience as inspection coordinator (PBL) or building inspector Education in BAS-P/BAS-U Education in PBL Previous experience with project management in construction or property We are looking for you as a confident and clear leader with a good ability to create structure and engagement in your team.
