Your New Workplace We are now recruiting for two positions located in the following areas: The Principal Area covering Kovland, Indal, Liden, and Holms preschools, which includes Anundgårds Preschool, Liden Preschool, Indal Preschool, and Vallen Preschool. The Principal Area covering Sidsjö and Nacksta preschools, which includes Klingsta Preschool, Sidsjö Preschool, Sundsvall Montessori Preschool, Skogspparken Preschool, Kula Preschool, Vreten Preschool, Rågen Preschool, and Nacksta Preschool. How You Contribute in This Role: As a Special Education Specialist, you will be part of a leadership team together with the principal and assistant principals, where you contribute a special education perspective to the leadership group and collaborate with other special education specialists in the organization. Your work tasks will consist of: Providing on-site support to educators and principals in matters concerning children with special needs at the individual, group, and organizational levels Facility visits, training, supervision, and consultation directly to the operations Collaboration with internal and external contacts Parent cooperation Assisting and providing support to the preschool in matters concerning pedagogical assessments before admission to adapted primary school It is important that you have strong commitment to preschool work and want to be part of developing our efforts to create a safe, enjoyable, educational, and equitable preschool. You work preventatively and promisingly, and follow up and evaluate measures together with involved parties. You have continuous supervision and consultations. Furthermore, you are well anchored in current governing documents and your work is based on a scientific foundation. Your Competence and Experience We are looking for someone who is trained as a special education specialist and has good knowledge of preschool's mission and governing documents. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, and you can also handle Google Drive, the Office package, and digital tools for remote meetings. Driver's license category B. We consider it meritorious if you have experience working as a special education specialist or preschool teacher in preschool. We also view experience working in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas positively. To succeed in this role, you as a person need to adapt easily to changed circumstances. We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and people's different circumstances. You are good at building relationships while being attentive, communicative, and a good listener. The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently comes naturally to you.
