Records Officer for Municipal Administration

Would you like to work with competent and engaged colleagues in the municipal administration on the municipal group's case process? The records officers work with all boards and companies within the Piteå municipal group. As a records officer with us, you will be part of a team with records officers, senior records officer, board secretaries, municipal secretary, and team leader who together plan and carry out the work. You will be part of the Management Office, which is part of the Democracy and Development department within the municipal administration. From January 1, 2027, we are centralizing support for our boards and companies in one shared central office. This is a strategic initiative where you as a records officer will have a central role in developing and ensuring quality in the municipal group's case process. We are now recruiting a records officer for our new office. Duties In your work, you are responsible for and ensure that the principle of public access is followed through good documentation and traceability of processed cases. The assignment includes standard records officer tasks such as registration, filing according to applicable legislation in the municipality's case and document management system, release of public documents, mail handling, and function mailboxes managed by the records office. You provide support and expertise to elected officials, case handlers, and managers within the group. You are expected to participate and contribute to improvement work on processes, systems, and procedures related to case handling and records management. When needed, you support other activities within the office. Qualifications As a records officer, you are expected to be confident and professional in your role. You have a positive attitude toward providing service, advice, and support. Since you often handle multiple processes and cases in parallel in this role, you need to be able to plan and organize your work efficiently with good structure. You need to have very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in the Swedish language so you can communicate with colleagues, elected officials, and other stakeholders, and document what the activity requires. As a person, you are unpretentious, structured, and quality-conscious. You have highly developed self-leadership, are initiative-taking, can prioritize, and learn new information quickly. In Strömbacka's production kitchen, all cooking is done hot, and job rotation between different tasks is applied. The duties also include work in the student restaurant, dishwashing, and cleaning. Qualifications We prefer that you have restaurant training at upper secondary level or equivalent experience that the employer finds appropriate. Sufficient knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, for safe handling and communication in a large kitchen. The work requires good physical fitness. Meritorious Knowledge We are looking for someone with experience in cooking from scratch in both cold and hot kitchens. You have good knowledge of self-control, hygiene routines, and cleaning, and are accustomed to working according to these requirements. Furthermore, you have experience with job rotation in a kitchen environment and enjoy varied tasks.
