The Individual and Family Care unit covers children and youth services, foster care, family law, financial assistance, and adult services. The operation consists of 14 caseworkers, one administrator, one senior social secretary, and a unit manager. We are a tightly-knit group that supports each other and can offer a pleasant workplace with close supervisory support. About the Role As a foster care caseworker, you are our connector. It's a multifaceted role where you juggle many responsibilities simultaneously while building strong relationships. You coordinate contacts and bring together all the important threads around the child and the foster family. The work requires a high degree of independence and involves regular travel. Your main responsibilities: · Connect the network: You are the link between the foster family, the child's social secretary, school, and health care services. · Close teamwork: You work in close dialogue with child secretaries to ensure a safe and coordinated intervention. · Support and guidance: You match, train, and provide close, personal support to our foster families. · Drive collaboration: You develop and maintain cooperation with external actors and organizations. Qualifications: We're looking for someone who is a natural relationship builder and is driven to collaborate with others. As we are a small municipality, we place decisive importance on your personal suitability, your communication skills, and your ability to coordinate multiple contact points. Requirements for the position: · Degree in social work or other academic education that the employer deems relevant (e.g., in behavioral science, pedagogy, or social work). · Excellent ability to collaborate and communicate with different target groups. · Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing, plus a valid driver's license. Meritorious: · Experience in government authority or social services work. · Training in investigation methodology (We work with sustained relationships). · Experience in network work or systematic family work. · Experience with the Pulsen Combine case management system is a plus. Other Information We offer you a permanent position. Start date as soon as possible by agreement. Working hours are daytime, Monday–Friday. Some remote work arrangement is possible.
