We are seeking an interim finance and unit manager for a government agency in Stockholm during a period of operational development and transformation. Background The Finance Unit is responsible for financial monitoring, internal control, and financial decision support to management. An operational change initiative has already been initiated. The work includes mapping and analysis of the finance function's mandate, working methods, competencies, and organization, as well as development of a more appropriate and operationally-aligned finance function. The assignment involves taking over and ensuring continued progress in this work while leading and developing the ongoing operations in accordance with the department manager's direction. Assignment Description The interim manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance unit and reports to the department manager. The interim manager is expected to independently take over responsibility for the finance function with limited introduction and immediately ensure both the ongoing operations and continued implementation of the already-initiated operational transformation work.
