We are now looking for an experienced Project Manager in Automation who wants to take responsibility for leading and implementing automation projects in technically complex and often GMP-regulated environments. The role suits you if you want to combine deep technical expertise with project management and are driven by creating results together with customers, colleagues, and partners. Job Description As Project Manager - Automation, you are responsible for planning, leading, and implementing automation projects from feasibility studies through commissioning and handover to operations. You ensure that projects are delivered according to agreed scope, timeline, budget, and quality requirements. You become an important link between the customer, project organization, automation specialists, and suppliers, and are expected to take an active role in both technical and strategic decisions. Your main areas of responsibility: Lead and execute automation projects through the entire project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and design to commissioning, validation, and handover. Own project delivery regarding scope, timeline, budget, quality, and risk management. Coordinate internal resources, automation specialists, customers, and suppliers to ensure efficient execution. Ensure technical solutions within PLC, SCADA, and DCS environments, including integration with MES and other industrial IT systems. Ensure that projects are executed in compliance with GMP, validation requirements, and other regulatory guidelines. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Bachelor's or master's degree in automation, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent technical education At least 5 years of experience in automation, industry, or production Experience in project management or leading technical roles in industrial projects Good understanding of PLC, SCADA, and/or DCS systems Experience working in cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders Strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken Desirable Qualifications Experience from Life Science, pharmaceutical industry, or other regulated environments Knowledge of GMP, GAMP5, and regulatory requirements and validation work (IQ/OQ/PQ), change control, and qualification Experience integrating automation systems with industrial IT systems Who Are You?
