We are now seeking several skilled and unpretentious environmental workers with a C-class license for our newly established section in Malmö who are interested in varied and socially meaningful work. Shift-Based Electrician for Our Maintenance Organization

The Opportunity We are seeking a shift-based industrial electrician for Hitachi Energy and our business unit consisting of Surge Arresters and Capacitors. At Surge Arresters in Ludvika, we manufacture and sell surge arresters. New products are developed here, and our markets span Sweden and other parts of the world. An arrester protects against overvoltages and is an essential component in a reliable and energy-efficient power system. At Capacitors, we perform final assembly of customized medium and high-voltage capacitors for reactive power compensation and harmonic filtering, as well as manufacture DC capacitors for HVDC applications worldwide. Both operations feature a high degree of automation with multiple robots, winding machines, electrical testing, process furnaces, fixtures, etc., and we operate production around the clock across several sections. How You Will Make an Impact Perform acute and preventive maintenance of electrical and control equipment. Continuously monitor improvements in the manufacturing process and implement short-term and long-term plans, while actively participating in investment projects. Work collaboratively with production and external suppliers. Participate in initiatives to maintain and improve equipment reliability and efficiency. Drive our Smart Maintenance initiative and work actively with database-driven maintenance systems. You share Hitachi Energy's core values regarding safety and integrity, meaning you take responsibility for your own actions while feeling responsible for your colleagues and the business operations. Your Background You have secondary education with a focus on electrical engineering or equivalent qualification. It is advantageous if you have training in automation. We see that you have several years of experience working as an electrician and have strong ability and experience reading and understanding electrical schematics. You are comfortable with shift work and have the flexibility to work varying hours. As a person, we see that you are solution-oriented, flexible, and receptive. To succeed in this role, you need to be results-focused and comfortable working in a production environment.
