After-School Teacher
Malmen Montessori in Borås is beautifully situated just next to the scenic Ramnasjön lake in a large, historic, and beautiful brick building. We are one of the country's largest Montessori schools with approximately 750 children in preschool, primary school, and after-school care, and we have over 120 employees. Students are organized in mixed-age groups. We are looking for you, a certified teacher/after-school pedagogue with credentials to teach in after-school settings. We are searching for someone with a curious approach who is positive, responsible, flexible, and confident. You have a structured, creative work style and are skilled at inspiring and motivating children to discover, learn, and develop. We would appreciate it if you have experience in the profession and are interested in Montessori pedagogy. It is not a requirement to be Montessori-trained—professional development takes place internally. You will be involved in developing our activities in relation to the curriculum and our Montessori educational plan. You stimulate each child to educate themselves and grow with their tasks, and you provide freedom with responsibility. From this freedom, students' independence can develop, which subsequently builds self-confidence and the ability for critical thinking. We place great importance on personal suitability. This is a permanent full-time position starting in September 2026. For this position, we apply vacation service. "Montessori First" is something we want everyone at Malmen Montessori to experience. It is an approach that should characterize our operations. We meet each child in their own way. Children should be given the opportunity to find their inner drive and discipline to strengthen their desire to learn and reach their full potential. Through Montessori First and meeting each child in their own way, we create secure, independent, and curious children who have a love of learning. Children with knowledge—for life. Every child is the beginning of something great. Our operations are run by a parent association, and our governing body is a board that includes the school principal, as well as a management group. Parents are our pillars of support and it is important to maintain good communication with them. If you would like to know more about this position, please contact HR Manager Allan Sommarblad at [email protected], 0708-10 11 46. As an employee in our administration, you are offered, among other things, wellness allowance and occupational health services. According to the School Act, an extract from the police's criminal record must be presented by persons before they are employed in preschool activities, school, and school childcare. You can order this on the Police website. We warmly welcome your application! #jobbjustnu malmen.com
