The Product Durability group is part of the Building Systems and Material Durability Department within the Materials and Production division at RISE. Operations are conducted in Sweden and France. We actively work to increase collaboration between our different sites. Within Product Durability, we conduct standardized testing of products and materials in harsh environments, investigations, and surface analysis. We work with both assignments and research together with industry and other stakeholders. The laboratory is accredited according to ISO 17025. About the Role As Group Manager, you lead and develop operations within Product Durability. You are responsible for the group's employees, goals, and deliverables, and create conditions for efficient and well-functioning operations. You lead and coach employees and are responsible for ongoing planning and work distribution, as well as leading and planning laboratory testing of products and materials. You drive business development and continuous improvement and ensure that the group's competence develops in line with customer and market needs. The role involves close collaboration with customers and colleagues, where you actively participate in projects, customer dialogues, and development of new business opportunities. You also contribute to developing the group's commercial offerings and external collaborations. As Group Manager, you are also responsible for regulatory compliance as well as quality, environment, and workplace safety within the group's operational area. Requirements Relevant education and experience, and extensive domain knowledge in materials and testing. Previous leadership experience with employee responsibility. Technical domain expertise and quality management experience. Experience with accredited testing operations. Experience in project management, business development, and continuous improvement. Experience with customer dialogue, market work, and business development. Experience with external and/or international collaborations or customers. Experience in change management and strategic development work. Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written. Merits Experience in developing and modernizing laboratory environments.
