We are now seeking teachers for adapted primary school grades 1-9. The adapted primary school in Flen has just moved to new premises and is beautifully located by a lake. The environment around the school offers great opportunities for teaching in the surrounding areas. Currently, we have 26 students from grades 1-9. The unit also has a smaller group of students who belong to regular primary school but have significant need for adapted learning environments, which our adapted primary school provides. The unit has two lead teachers, one focused on preventive and promotional work and one focused on mathematics. YOUR WORK TASKS You will work together with your colleagues to ensure that students are challenged to learn based on their individual circumstances. You will teach students primarily core subjects. The position may also involve teaching one or several students in subject areas. This position means that you, together with a colleague, will become a mentor for a group of students in grades 2-6. Currently, there are 9 students in the group. You plan, implement, and follow up on teaching in close collaboration with educational assistants. You will contribute and participate in the school's development work and mentor educational assistants based on your expertise. Today, the group consists of 2 teachers and 2 educational assistants. Mentoring includes conducting development conversations and participating in network meetings around the student. You will be part of a work team that works together around the students. In your role, you also need to cooperate with guardians, rehabilitation services, and in some cases other authorities.
