Job Responsibilities We are looking for a support pedagogue at BmSS Mossfyndsgatan 15! Mossfyndsgatan 15 is a group home with five residents. BmSS Mossfyndsgatan 15 works closely with BmSS Mossfyndsgatan 10. As a support pedagogue, you have an important role in both operations where you contribute with support and pedagogical expertise. We work closely together and help each other to best care for the residents and ensure they receive the help they need in their daily lives. As a support pedagogue with us, you are part of a team of dedicated support assistants whose shared mission is to contribute to a meaningful life with daily support, activity support, and maintaining social contacts. You support the support assistants in the operation with methods, routines, and social documentation, and help maintain the structure of the operation. You will also guide and reflect on matters of conduct and approach. Be a support in developing individually tailored methods to promote participation and independence. Qualifications We are looking for someone with training as a support or social pedagogue, or alternatively a post-secondary specialization in the disability field comprising at least 200 vocational school credits, 120 higher education credits, or a combination equivalent to at least four semesters of full-time study. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with disabilities. The education should have relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care. Communication is an important part of the work, which requires that you have passed Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through the test administrator Educateit. It is meritorious if you have previous experience working as a support pedagogue as well as knowledge and experience of LAB (low-affect handling) and clarifying pedagogy.
