Responsibilities Would you like to make a difference for the children at Kålhagens Children's Residential Home? If so, you might be the support educator we're looking for. Their needs and wishes form the foundation of our work. Two children with NPF diagnosis live with us. The children have extensive needs for educational support and personal care. The work schedule includes day, evening, and weekend shifts. As a support educator, you allocate part of your time for educational work. The remaining time is spent providing services in the operation. We use Timecare Planning for activity-adapted and flexible schedules. Qualifications For the position of support educator, post-secondary specialization in the disability services field is required, comprising at least 200 vocational credits or 60 university credits, or a combination equivalent to at least two full-time semesters of study. The education should have a clear focus on the disability services field in its entirety, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1, you may be offered a language test through the testing provider Educateit. You need to have work experience working with people who have physical and mental disabilities and be well familiar with AAC (augmentative and alternative communication). It is advantageous if you have previously worked with children and youth with disabilities. It is also advantageous if you have previously worked with Timecare Planning and hold a driver's license (Category B). You plan and conduct customer meetings where you provide advice and present our smart security solutions. You're responsible for the entire process – from first contact to closing the deal – but you're never alone.
