The Department of Immunology, Genetics and Pathology at Uppsala University has a broad research profile with strong research groups focused on, among other areas, cancer, genetic and autoimmune diseases. One of the guiding principles at the department is to stimulate translational research and thereby promote closer collaboration between medical research and healthcare. Research is conducted within six research programs: cancer precision medicine, cancer immunotherapy, genomics and neurobiology, molecular tools and functional genomics, neuro-oncology and neurodegeneration, and vascular biology. Parts of the activities are also integrated with the departments of oncology, clinical genetics, clinical immunology, clinical pathology, and hospital physics at Uppsala University Hospital. In this role you will: - Design, modify, and functionally validate new CAR-T cell constructs. - Use large-scale CRISPR screening platforms to identify genetic regulators of T cell persistence, tumor infiltration, and resistance mechanisms. - Perform complex in vitro analyses (e.g., cytotoxicity assays, cytokine profiling, and flow cytometry) as well as preclinical in vivo evaluations. - Collaborate closely with internal and external academic partners, clinical teams, and industry partners. - Analyze high-dimensional data and compile and write scientific manuscripts for publication in high-ranking journals. Qualifications - Ph.D. in immunology, cancer biology, biotechnology, molecular biology, or another relevant field, or a foreign degree deemed equivalent to a Ph.D. in the same. The degree must be completed by the time the employment decision is made. Ideally, the degree should have been obtained no more than three years ago. Schedule and Cost Coordinator at TrafikverketAbout the Company Trafikverket is the client for a comprehensive infrastructure project linked to the Trollhätte Canal, which serves as the waterway between the Atlantic Ocean and Lake Vänern. The 44-meter elevation difference is managed by locks in Lilla Edet, Trollhättan, and Vänersborg. The existing lock structures date from the early 1900s and have reached the end of their service life. Trafikverket will therefore replace the existing locks with new ones at all three locations. The current assignment focuses on a new lock structure in Trollhättan and is carried out in collaboration with the Swedish Maritime Authority. About the Role Trafikverket is seeking a resource consultant as a schedule and cost coordinator for the Trollhätte Canal Locks Program. You will contribute knowledge and expertise in schedule and cost coordination and be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules and cost estimates. The focus of the assignment is to be part of the client organization for the E21 New Lock and Waterway contract, which includes work on the new lock structure in Trollhättan. The role involves close daily collaboration with both the client organization and the contractor. The contract comprises a contract with contractor participation (TEM) in two phases, where Phase 1 is based on ABK 09 and Phase 2 constitutes a possible full-service contract with a target price according to ABT 06. About the Position As a forklift operator, you are responsible for ensuring that material flows run smoothly, from receiving to production. You will work with loading, unloading, material handling, and warehouse work in large-scale operations. The work takes place at a fast pace where safety is always the focus.
