Our Operations The Authorization Operations area works in several ways to ensure that appropriate medicines reach patients. This occurs in collaboration between national medicines authorities in Europe and the European Medicines Agency (EMA). You will also work with scientific advice, primarily to pharmaceutical companies but sometimes also to individual research groups. The tasks also include methodological assessment of trial protocols for planned clinical trials for medicines and medical devices. Furthermore, consulting tasks in statistical methodology issues that arise within other operations areas of the Medical Products Agency are included. Additionally, developing new requirements and guidelines for pharmaceutical development may be part of the role. As a statistician at the Medical Products Agency, you, together with other investigators, have an important role in decisions about which medicines may be used in the EU. The work is developmental and independent but is conducted in close collaboration with other statisticians in the group and clinical and other expertise in interdisciplinary teams. Your Background You have higher education comprising at least a bachelor's degree, preferably a master's degree, in statistics/mathematical statistics or equivalent, and have good knowledge in biostatistics acquired through relevant professional experience. You have experience interpreting data from clinical studies and practical experience with statistical analysis. You have very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing. Professional experience from the pharmaceutical industry, CRO (contract research organization), and/or medicines authorities is a merit, as is a doctorate in an area that the Medical Products Agency considers relevant. The Department of Design at the School of Textiles offers undergraduate and advanced levels in fashion design, textile design, textile interaction design, and performance wear. The department also conducts artistic research education in design. Based on experimental methodology, the department teaches and explores textiles, fashion, and clothing in a broad sense, including through body-based expression and function, material innovation, textile art, digital tools and processes, textile interaction, social sustainability, and cultural development through design. Special focus is on artistic education and artistic research connection to education in textiles, clothing, and fashion, both theoretically and practically. Your responsibilities include conducting artistic research and development in and for the research and educational environment, also through course and program development. You will also participate in the department's collaboration with adjacent textile education areas at the university and with adjacent art and design fields nationally and internationally. You will also work toward increased diversification and internationalization of design education programs. Your Qualifications For this position, the following are required: Completed artistic doctorate degree Demonstrated artistic skill, or equivalent professional skill that is relevant given the subject matter of the position and the work tasks to be included in the employment Demonstrated pedagogical skill Documented advanced knowledge and skills in artistic practices and design methods Documented advanced knowledge and skills in experimental artistic design research Knowledge and understanding of, as well as practical experience with, 3D artistic expression in art and design Strong ability to communicate in writing and orally in English You must also have a strong ability to collaborate, work independently and in an organized manner, and be able to prioritize work tasks. A general eligibility requirement for permanent employment as a teacher is completion of higher education pedagogical education equivalent to 10 weeks of full-time studies, or equivalent competence. An employee lacking higher education pedagogical education must complete such education during the first two years of employment. Meritorious: Experience publishing artistic research results in relevant exhibitions, journals, conferences, or equivalent. Teaching experience in the field of textile and fashion design. Experience with teaching administration in design. Experience with research funding applications and participation in larger research projects. International network in education and research.
