About the position We are seeking an Educator with a music education focus who wants to work at both Tomaskyrkan and Viksängskyrkan. At Tomaskyrkan, you'll encounter a large, vibrant, and well-established confirmation and youth program where mass, music, and community are integral parts of the activities. At Viksängskyrkan, you'll have the opportunity to help build a confirmation program from the ground up – an exciting and important challenge. There is also an LGBTQI+ café and work with confirmands with special needs. The position also includes Working with schools and maintaining contact with young people in their everyday lives Networking and collaborating with actors in the local area Contributing to the development of our youth programs with music as a natural tool About the workplace You'll become part of an engaged youth team with educators, a deacon, and priests. Collaboration is fundamental for us – we support each other, share ideas, and have fun working together. We are looking for someone who Has musical competence and preferably uses music in educational contexts Has experience working with children and young people, preferably confirmands Is enterprising, flexible, and comfortable both collaborating and working independently Wants to create inclusive and safe meeting places for young people It is an advantage if you are trained as a parish educator or have equivalent education/experience We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
