Medical Department 2 is looking for more colleagues to join our dedicated team! We are a general medical department that also provides specialized care for stroke patients. The department has 24 care beds and consists of approximately 50 employees, and we work in multiprofessional teams in accordance with national stroke care guidelines. Here in the department, you will have the opportunity to grow with us and become part of our goal-oriented efforts to provide our patients with the best possible care. With us, you will receive support from a senior nurse who helps newly hired staff get up to speed, as well as a coordinator and a discharge nurse who make daily work smoother. Your Assignment As a nurse in our department, you will have a varied and educational workday where you get the opportunity to work with both stroke care and general internal medicine. You will lead nursing care work and work closely with our nursing assistants on the team. The role requires that you are flexible and can quickly switch between different tasks. We offer a stroke competency education program in collaboration with Umeå University, held on-site at the hospital. We are also part of the nursing program at Uppsala University and accept students from various semesters and professions. Your Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience in inpatient care and internal medicine is advantageous, but we value your willingness to learn and grow in your role. You are flexible, enjoy collaboration, and have a strong interest in working with people. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
