About the Position As Group Manager for IT Development Model and Storage, you report to the Head of IT Development. In the management team of IT Development, we consist of one unit manager and four group managers who work as a team according to shared working procedures and goals. You have overall responsibility for the group's work environment, competence development, and coaching. Together with other managers in the unit, you are responsible for strategic planning and finances within the framework established by the system development operations. Each manager has the opportunity to deepen their knowledge within special areas of expertise such as competence supply methodology, consultant strategy, agile system development, preparedness, or IT security, both for the unit and in some cases for all of SMHI. System development is conducted in self-organizing, cross-functional teams where IT expertise collaborates with scientific experts within weather, water, and climate.
