Social Worker Making a Difference for Children and Youth

We're on the move and scaling up! At Lotsen Children and Youth in Mariestad, we are investing and seeking several positions on the assessment and placement side! Now you have the chance to step into an important and meaningful role where every day you get to influence the lives of children who have it extra tough. You'll get a varied, challenging, and very rewarding assignment where you get to use both your heart and mind to create safe environments for those we serve. Do you also want to work as a social worker in an organization that promotes development, employee well-being, and a positive work environment with great results? Then you're welcome to join us! 4 position(s). WORK TASKS We are seeking social workers for our two teams: Assessment and Placement. If you're interested in a position in the assessment team, which takes over after the reception has made a preliminary assessment, the work continues with: • Assessment of children's needs and parents' capabilities. • Follow-up of assistance decisions. • Collaboration with schools, police, child and adolescent psychiatric services, and other actors around the child. • Customizing solutions for families. In our placement team, which takes over after an assessment has been completed, you represent the child's interests and needs, ensure that the child has meaningful contact with their parents, and that the child is involved in their own care. You work toward reunification, parental involvement in care, and enabling them to receive the right support. This involves: • Following the care of placed children and youth based on their individual needs and rights • Considering and reconsidering care, making contact plans and contact assessments. • Close collaboration with foster care coordinators and cooperation with schools, police, child and adolescent psychiatric services, and other actors around the child. If you thrive with shorter contacts, meeting deadlines, and can quickly adapt your work, the assessment team might be the right workplace for you. If you prefer, on the other hand, longer-term cases where you follow clients over time, the placement team is recommended. With good team cohesion and skills development, we lay the foundation for good work - We make a difference for the children! QUALIFICATIONS For these positions, we're looking for someone educated as a social worker with a valid driver's license. Previous work experience from social services and authority administration for children and youth is a plus. You need to be skilled at creating security and working alliances with those you meet, so families dare to be honest, and you need to develop a safe way of communicating difficult assessments and decisions yourself. This is an assignment that gives a lot back but also sometimes takes a toll on your strength. You therefore need to have an inner acceptance of not always being able to do everything and a belief that small steps will pay off in the long run. You also need to take care of your own well-being and set boundaries for your commitment to be able to stay and be there for the children and youth over time. What can we offer you? For us, you as an employee are our most important resource, and we care that you have a good balance between work and leisure. That's why we've introduced four trust days per year that can be taken as full or half days for recovery purposes. We also offer wellness benefits, flexibility, and the opportunity for vacation banking. At work, the fruit basket is stocked and we have a shared Friday breakfast. From time to time, we arrange lunch workouts for better health and team cohesion. We have dedicated time for documentation on Wednesdays and method meetings every week with themes based on what the work team requests. As support in your work, there are both senior social workers, a unit manager, and social administrators on site. We're also a work team that supports each other, laughs a lot, and helps out when days become unpredictable. Here it's natural to check with your colleague next to you before you go home wondering about something. Beyond the method meetings, each employee has the opportunity for continuous skills development through the Professional Journey program and other training based on both the organization's and the employee's needs. We actively strive for an equal, equitable, and inclusive approach, and the organization has been LGBTQI+-certified since 2023 through Samkrafter. About the application When you submit your application, we want a CV showing your previous qualifications. You can skip the personal letter, but instead you'll answer some selection questions. We place great emphasis on personal qualities and good references. Before a job offer, we will request a criminal record check. Recruitment is ongoing, so don't delay with your application. A probationary period may be applied. You're warmly welcome to Lotsen! Employment type: Permanent position. Duration: Start date: As soon as possible by agreement. Quality Leader at Surewood Housing

At Surewood Housing, you'll step into a rapidly growing operation where quality is a central part of our continued development. Here you'll have a key role in developing, coordinating, and anchoring our quality work throughout the organization – from project development to after-sales. The role suits you if you thrive in the intersection between structure and development. You're not someone who "has all the answers," but someone who gets things done by creating clarity, engagement, and shared ways of working. You'll become an important driver in developing a more unified, learning-focused, and data-driven approach to quality. Does this sound interesting? Apply for the role of Quality Leader at Surewood Housing. About the position As Quality Leader, you have a central role in developing, coordinating, and strengthening the organization's quality work. You drive improvement initiatives and ensure compliance through close collaboration with project development, production, construction sites, after-sales, and our central management processes. By building trust and creating understanding for quality work throughout the organization, you contribute to further developing our quality culture. Examples of responsibility areas: • Coordinate, administer, and further develop the organization's quality and management systems. • Support process owners in building, updating, and ensuring compliance with procedures, working methods, and governing documents. • Follow up on deviations, conduct investigations, and drive root cause analyses. • Analyze key metrics and quality costs and report results and improvement suggestions to the organization. • Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal and external audits. • Train and support the organization in implementing processes, working methods, and quality requirements. • Contribute to experience sharing and learning across different parts of the organization. The position is located at our production facilities in Gullringen. You report to the Production Support Manager, with a start date by agreement. About you We're looking for someone with experience in quality work, improvement initiatives, or process development in an industrial or construction-related organization. You have a good understanding of management systems, deviations, and structured improvement work, but above all, you're good at making things happen in organizations. As a person, you're relationship-building, pedagogical, and comfortable navigating different perspectives. You have the ability to build trust and create engagement, even when you challenge existing ways of working. You're curious and unpretentious, and you thrive in a role where you need to understand the big picture rather than optimize a single part. You're good at spotting patterns, drawing conclusions from data, and turning insights into concrete improvements. We believe you thrive in environments where you're a driving force for change, rather than an administrative manager of processes. About Surewood Housing Surewood Housing is a long-term residential developer building well-designed, affordable, and sustainable townhouses and apartment buildings. Surewood Housing delivers homes as full-service contracts, but can also support through the entire chain, from land acquisition to turnkey homes.
