Your Role With Us As a cleaning and facilities attendant, you independently take responsibility for daily cleaning, deep cleaning, and specialized cleaning according to cleaning instructions. You will carry out this work during daytime hours starting at 06:00 and will perform varied facilities maintenance in schools, recreational centers, and preschools in classrooms, corridors, offices, restrooms, gymnasiums, etc. Cleaning in other types of facilities within Kristianstad Municipality is also included in certain positions. The work is sometimes physically demanding, and we use cleaning machines in environments where applicable. To register completed cleaning work, you'll use an iPad with the digital system Clean Pilot. As a cleaning and facilities attendant, you work in a team where you collaborate and meet regularly. You also maintain close contact with the unit's cleaning coordinator regarding facilities maintenance, procurement, etc., as well as daily contact with customers and staff in the facilities you clean. If needed, work at other cleaning sites beyond your regular placement may occur. Who Are We Looking For? We want you to have a valid upper secondary school diploma, and if you also have cleaning and facilities training such as SRY, PRYL, or similar, that is a merit. Previous work experience as a cleaning and facilities attendant is an advantage, as is knowledge of cleaning equipment and cleaning supplies used in facilities maintenance. Experience working with cleaning machines and/or cleaning robots is also a plus. Since communication is an important part of the work—as you will be in contact with many people during the workday—it is required that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. We work with the digital system Clean Pilot, which is used for daily registration of cleaning tasks and for our long-term improvement work. Therefore, you need basic computer skills to be able to use apps and functions on mobile phones and iPads. As part of our digitalization journey, we also aim to work with more cleaning robots to improve both working environment and quality, so an openness and interest in trying new technical tools is desirable. Your personal qualities are important to us as the work is largely independent, which requires that you can take responsibility for the facilities assigned to you, but also that you can plan and prioritize your work tasks. You also need to be flexible as we help each other solve work tasks when needed. We want you to have good orientation skills and be able to read and understand cleaning instructions and drawings so you can locate and organize work within facilities and between different cleaning sites. Since the work is sometimes physically demanding, it is important that you have good physical fitness and mobility. For this position, you are required to have a Category B driver's license and access to your own car.
