About the Position We are looking for you to fill a shared position as a family counselor and youth worker. As a family counselor, you will lead the work toward established goals together with your team colleagues. Our primary tasks are to assess the issues and based on that create an individual treatment plan within the given method. Treatment interventions are directed at children/adolescents and parents and occur in close collaboration with social services and other actors such as the school. Assignments come from social services and concern families with significant need for support and treatment. As a youth worker, you will have varied work. Through the daily program environment, ongoing conversations with the young person and their guardians, and various forms of staff forums, change and development are co-created based on established treatment and school goals. The youth worker works closely with children/adolescents during their daily time at Magelungen and contributes to making the young person's perspective, strengths, and resources visible, strengthened, and utilized in the treatment work. The youth worker is responsible for the young person's development process and change work in collaboration with the team and family. The work requires openness and good collaboration skills, stress tolerance, flexibility, and a creative approach. You will participate in quality assurance and competence development, and together with your colleagues advance the organization's development work. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or equivalent education (minimum 180 credits) and basic psychotherapy training level 1. Since the program is aimed only at young people with extensive need for special support, we see that you have experience with treatment work with this target group. About the Operations: We are looking for you to work as hourly substitute staff in our preschools and primary schools in Vallentuna Municipality. You will then be employed as hourly substitute staff by the HR unit. You may be offered assignments with short notice, but also assignments with longer lead time to cover planned absences in the operations. We need substitutes who can work weekdays, daytime. During school breaks there are very rarely shifts, so we need substitutes mainly during spring and fall terms when school is in session. You do not need to be a trained teacher, preschool teacher, or childcare worker to work as hourly substitute staff with us. What is important is that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language and that you are interested in working with children. We would like you to be available for work at least 3-4 weekdays per week and we value it if you have the ability to come in and work on short notice, as the need for you as a substitute usually comes up the same morning you are needed. Duties: Preschool As a substitute in preschool, you support the preschool team in educational instruction. At the same time, you are a central part of the children's play and activities and assist during nap times and meals. You keep the child in focus and contribute to creating joy around play and creativity for the child. Duties: Afterschool/Resource As afterschool/resource staff in primary school, you support the school's students and teachers with their work during the school day. During breaks and afternoon afterschool programs, you share responsibility with regular staff for student safety and learning. Your focus is always on the students and you contribute with your commitment both in the classroom and on the schoolyard. Duties: Teacher Substitute As a teacher substitute, you will lead classroom instruction based on the regular teacher's planning. The role requires that you have confident and clear leadership, a good ability to create structure, and a presence that inspires confidence in the classroom. You need to be able to take responsibility for the group and meet students with both clarity and responsiveness. In the classroom, you also function as a pedagogical support where you help students understand and complete their tasks. You take responsibility for the class during the time you are their teacher substitute. Opportunities for longer-term substitute positions may exist and would mean that you participate in planning instruction and maintain contact with guardians. Qualifications: At least 18 years old. Good knowledge of the Swedish language. Meritorious: Ongoing or completed education as childcare worker, student assistant, afterschool pedagogue, or other pedagogical education. Driver's license, or that you can otherwise get to our operations quickly and easily. Experience working with the target group of children/young people. Knowledge of diabetes, NPF, TAKK - Sign Support, special education, or machine operation skills (woodworking).
