Your Assignment As a substitute teacher in preschool and school, you provide support where needed based on current and period-specific requirements. You meet children and students of different ages and work to support their care, development, and learning. Work tasks include participating in pedagogical activities, substituting in classrooms, participating in play and outdoor activities, providing support during the school day and in leisure activities, and contributing to a safe and positive environment for children and students. In this role, you collaborate with teachers, childcare providers, leisure staff, and other colleagues to create a safe, secure, and developmental environment for children and students. As a substitute teacher, you need to be able to step in on short notice and have the ability to work partial days, full days, or longer periods. Your Experience For this position, you must have: good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is a merit if you also have: gymnasial or post-secondary education as a childcare provider, teacher, or other education the employer deems relevant experience working with children and students experience working in preschool, school, or after-school care experience with and knowledge of children and students with neurodevelopmental diagnoses. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will work with children, young people, and families who need advice, support, or treatment to create positive changes and move forward in life. You have experience with treatment work and change work with families from a systemic perspective and see the individual's needs in context. You have experience planning and implementing structured treatment and support interventions, and leading parental support programs such as Komet, ABC, or similar programs with scientific backing. To succeed in this role, you are a confident and stable person with good self-awareness. You have the ability to build trusting relationships and meet children, young people, and families in vulnerable and complex situations in a professional and respectful manner. You are accustomed to documenting according to social services guidelines and work systematically according to applicable legislation, guidelines, and procedures.
