Your Assignment As a substitute teacher in preschool and school, you provide support where needed based on current and period-specific requirements. You meet children and students of different ages and work to support their care, development, and learning. Work tasks include participating in pedagogical activities, substituting in classrooms, participating in play and outdoor activities, providing support during the school day and in leisure activities, and contributing to a safe and positive environment for children and students. You work according to the organization's routines, governing documents, and instructions from the responsible manager or regular staff. Teaching, work methods, and planning are prepared by regular employees, and your task is to implement and support the operations according to given guidelines. In this role, you collaborate with teachers, childcare providers, leisure staff, and other colleagues to create a safe, secure, and developmental environment for children and students. As a substitute teacher, you need to be able to step in on short notice and have the ability to work partial days, full days, or longer periods. Your Experience For this position, you must have: good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is a merit if you also have: gymnasial or post-secondary education as a childcare provider, teacher, or other education the employer deems relevant experience working with children and students experience working in preschool, school, or after-school care experience with and knowledge of children and students with neurodevelopmental diagnoses. As a substitute teacher, you work at the schools Järla School grades F-6, Jarlaberg School grades F-6, or at the preschools Jarlaberg Preschool, Optimus Preschool, Järlahöjden Preschool, and Talliden Preschool.
