The Department of Clinical Pathology and Genetics at Örebro University Hospital is in constant development and is now expanding the physician group with a specialist in clinical pathology. Today the medical staff in pathology consists of 9 specialists and 4 residents. Chief Physician, Otolaryngology (ENT)

Visby Hospital has a broad healthcare mission and provides Gotland with acute and planned specialist care. The island location requires the resources of a large hospital while simultaneously offering the proximity and community feel of a smaller one. A wide range of services are represented within both surgical and medical specialties. The ENT department is responsible for ear, nose, and throat care for Gotland's approximately 60,000 residents and handles around 7,000 visits per year. Operations are conducted in close collaboration with other surgical specialties, the dermatology clinic, and the Oral and Maxillofacial Center. We strive to maintain as much ENT care as possible at Visby Hospital. There is an opportunity for assignments at child health centers, nursing homes, emergency medicine, and maternity clinics. On-call and standby duty are also included. Your Qualifications We are looking for a physician with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish medical license and strong ability to communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing. You enjoy working in a team with the patient at the center and want to contribute to the development of the service. We also place great importance on personal qualities. Our Operations Gottsunda Health Center is located in bright and modern premises in Gottsunda Center, in the southwestern part of Uppsala, where generous staff parking is available for only 300 kr/month. We have approximately 13,000 registered patients and about 70 employees. Our operations are broad, and all professional areas within the health center's mission are represented. Many of our patients come from other countries and cultures, which we find makes work with us especially varied and interesting. Our physician team currently consists of 4 ST physicians, 9 district physicians in varying employment levels, as well as AT and BT physicians. We receive excellent feedback from students and employees. We have low staff turnover and high knowledge levels across the entire health center.
