Department Description The Functional Support Department offers support and services to children, youth, and adults with disabilities. Damage Technician / Painter

We are looking for a painter/technician who wants to be part of developing our business! We are a damage repair shop specializing in heavy vehicles and we handle everything from damage repairs, frame straightening and cab straightening to plastic repairs and painting. About the Position We are primarily looking for a painter with experience in surface preparation and painting. Miilux Sweden is now building a completely new service organization for a multi-year service agreement at Boliden Aitik outside Gällivare. We are therefore looking for several experienced welders who want to be part of the team from the start and become an important part of our organization. About the Position Miilux has signed a multi-year service agreement for truck beds with Boliden Aitik and is now building a service organization on-site at the mine. As a welder, you will be part of a fixed team working continuously at the customer's location according to a 7/7 shift schedule. We provide accommodation in Gällivare. Together, you will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and renovation of mining equipment where high quality, safety, and availability are crucial. The work includes, among other things: Repair, maintenance, and inspections of primarily truck beds but also other mining equipment for mobile machinery. Welding using methods MMA (111), MAG (135), and wire (136). Work with wear steel, primarily Hardox. Collaboration with supervisors and the rest of the team to plan and carry out work. Active participation in safety and improvement work. Documentation and reporting of completed work. You will work in a modern mining environment where safety is always the highest priority and where you have the opportunity to develop together with an experienced team. We are Looking for You Have experience as a welder in industry, construction, or mining operations. Have good knowledge of MMA and MIG/MAG. Have experience with repair and maintenance of heavy equipment. Have a B driver's license. Speak and write Swedish fluently. It is meriting if you have: Welding certificates. Truck or overhead crane license. C driver's license Experience working with Hardox or other high-strength steels. Experience from the mining industry.
