JOB DUTIES As a nurse in KHSV-Municipal Health and Care Services, you work with health and medical care services for enrolled patients in regular housing. On weekends, the work also includes providing health and medical care services in special housing such as nursing homes and dementia care facilities. Home care services can include medical interventions, rehabilitation and care and range from limited simple care procedures with several days between them to health care assignments with multiple visits and procedures per day for seriously ill patients. The mission involves closeness and continuity with a holistic perspective in patient contact. It is a varied and exciting assignment with good opportunities for personal development and responsibility. You will make independent assessments and lead and perform health and care interventions. Your tasks include planning measures and conducting follow-ups, managing medications, infusions and medical equipment, and working preventively in patient contact. You work person-centered and plan work based on the individual's circumstances and needs. You are responsible for leading and delegating nursing staff in health and care tasks and work in close collaboration with the unit manager and nursing staff in regular housing and home care services as well as in contact with relatives. You are an important contact and work closely with primary and specialist care in Region Östergötland. QUALIFICATIONS Driver's License You must have a category B driver's license for cars with manual transmission. Licensed Nurse Knowledge You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both in writing and verbally Experience Preferably with experience from nursing. WORK TASKS We are now looking for a nurse for municipal health and medical care with a mission within on-call operations, which involves daytime work, evenings and every other weekend. On-call operations are based at premises on Södra Allén in Motala. Work during on-call hours includes both planned cases and unplanned assessments as well as interventions from collaboration partners within health care. As a nurse in on-call operations, you meet the patient both in ordinary housing and in special accommodation. Working on-call is instructive work for you who enjoy challenges, varying workload/assignments and appreciate independent work. No two days are the same.
