Brief introduction from the user: I am looking for a male assistant to help me in my daily life. I need a lot of help with various tasks, as I have a chronic illness that limits my mobility. My limitations include limited arm mobility, which allows me to hold things like my phone, and I use an electric wheelchair to get around. I really enjoy listening to music. Mostly rock, but I also listen to other genres like electronic music and even more rock! My favorite bands are Primus, Dead Kennedys, and Zeal & Ardor. Film is another interest of mine, and I enjoy thriller and horror genres. Directors I like are Dario Argento, David Cronenberg, and Gaspar Noé. Personal Assistant for a 10-Year-Old Girl
Personal assistants needed for an active 10-year-old girl living with her family outside Östersund. This job is perfect for you if you are studying or have another job, as you will work approximately 6-8 shifts per month. We are looking for someone who is active, responsible, and engaged. The girl's daily life is eventful and active, so you need to be comfortable with an active workday. Flexibility is important so you can adapt to her needs and interests. The work involves varied activities both indoors and outdoors; you participate in her daily routines and interests. Previous experience with personal assistance and/or working with children is a merit, but not required. For us, the most important thing is that you are a good fit with the girl and the family. Work hours are scheduled for weekdays, afternoon/evening, and on-call night shifts. Requirements: Good Swedish, as the child needs clear and reliable verbal communication. She prefers female staff and you must be over 18 years old. It is an advantage if you have a driver's license and access to your own car, as there are limited bus connections during school holidays. There are pets in the home. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis and we will fill the positions once we have found the right person. GOTHENBURG Personal assistance for young adults within the LSS framework. We are now seeking personal assistants for two brothers, born in 2005 and 2007, who live together in Angered, Gothenburg. Both have extensive care needs and receive personal assistance due to autism, ADHD, developmental disability, OCD, and gastrostomy, among other conditions. This means they require substantial hands-on help and support from their assistants so that structure and routines can create the calmest daily life possible. The work requires that you have the ability and interest in learning to work methodically while also being open to sudden changes. Since they cannot communicate verbally, AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) is used in daily communication—pictures, gestures, and signs. Their interests include animals, being outdoors, "playing," swimming, roughhousing, and music. We are looking for someone with lots of energy who is genuinely interested in working with service users within the LSS framework. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working within LSS, or alternatively experience working with people with disabilities, home care, nursing homes with extensive care needs, etc. Most importantly, you must be motivated and interested in learning within this field. You will primarily work as part of a team, though individual work also occurs. Education/experience with the mentioned diagnoses, low-demand interaction approaches, and alternative communication are merits. Work hours vary—days, evenings, and weekends. After completed introduction, also night shifts. Total work commitment: up to 100%. Individual salary based on competence, experience, and responsibility. Start date by agreement.
