Nurses for Surgical Acute Care and ENT in Helsingborg

Make a difference. Every day. Are you confident in your nursing role and motivated by a workday that is constantly moving? Do you want to be part of shaping how we develop our department? We at the Surgical Acute Care and Ear, Nose, and Throat (Kava/ENT) department are looking for someone like you—someone who is courageous and engaged. Right now we are seeking two nurses—one for a permanent position and one for a fixed-term position. With us, you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise, develop in your professional role, and have a say in our continued development. Kava/ENT is currently under development, and our goal is to eventually open up to 18 to 22 beds. We provide advanced and complex care around the clock. It is a challenging yet educational environment where the team around the patient works together toward a common goal. We place great emphasis on the individual and encourage professional development to foster strong team competence. During our development phase, our team will have varying levels of knowledge and experience, and together we set our goals. We care about how we treat one another, help each other in our daily work, and together contribute to a workplace where we thrive and have fun together. 2 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nurse with us, we offer you a developmental role where you have the opportunity to contribute your expertise and where we together drive the operation forward. At Kava/ENT, we primarily care for patients with acute surgical conditions. The most common reasons for admission are various abdominal diagnoses, acute bleeding, and trauma. We also care for a smaller patient group within the ear, nose, and throat specialty, where diagnoses can include acute conditions, planned surgery, and/or cancer diagnosis. Our patients may also require tracheostomy care. Acute nursing care also includes pre- and postoperative care. We receive patients around the clock, with most admissions coming through the emergency department. The department is also responsible for the Ear, Nose, and Throat emergency unit, which is staffed with physicians and nursing assistants. Evening, night, and weekend shifts occur in this position. We use a wish-based scheduling system and work two weekends out of five. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed nurse with authorization to work within Swedish healthcare and feel confident communicating in Swedish. Swedish language skills at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required for this position. We would like you to have several years of clinical experience in emergency care, but it is not a requirement. It is also advantageous if you have experience with and/or are specialist trained in the ear, nose, and throat field and/or surgical acute care. If you have supervisor training and/or mentoring experience, that is also advantageous for this position. You value good cooperation and contribute to it by sharing your knowledge and experiences. Your commitment and positive attitude contribute to a good work climate, where we all help each other and work together to achieve the best care quality for our patients. In our daily work, changes often occur quickly; adapting to these and adjusting to new situations requires competencies such as overview, planning, and prioritization. To succeed in your role as a nurse with us, flexibility is an important quality. With us, every patient is unique and important, so we are careful to find the right person for the position and therefore place great emphasis on personal suitability. In this recruitment process, we conduct continuous selection. We warmly welcome your application today. We look forward to getting to know you! Employment form: Permanent position. Firefighter Älmsta Part-Time Station

2 position(s). The Fire and Rescue Service works to ensure that Norrtälje is a safe and secure municipality for all residents, even in difficult circumstances. We maintain round-the-clock readiness at our five fire stations on Blidö, in Norrtälje, Hallstavik, Rimbo, and Älmsta. Our mission to provide rescue services is not only in everyday situations but is also an important part of civil defense. The prevention mission includes information, advice, and guidance to residents as well as training for students and employees in the municipality. The Fire and Rescue Service is responsible for fire safety inspections and licensing and supervision matters regarding the handling of flammable and explosive materials. We conduct fire safety inspections in-house and are responsible for chimney sweeping carried out by contracted entrepreneurs. The rescue and mitigation operations include rescue efforts for fires, accidents, releases of environmentally hazardous substances, and other emergencies. We collaborate with twelve other rescue service organizations in the Eastern Svealand Rescue Region. About the Position We are now recruiting firefighters for the part-time station in Älmsta. Maybe you're our next firefighter? We will provide you with the training you need! As a firefighter in Älmsta, you will receive thorough training, exciting and unpredictable work tasks, and an unbeatable camaraderie with your team—but above all, you will fulfill a vital function for society. Do you want to make a difference and contribute to safety in the community where you live? Then we think you should apply to us! With this position, you combine your regular job with work as a firefighter. As a firefighter at our part-time station, you maintain readiness during predetermined times. You can hold readiness from home, from your regular workplace, or wherever works for you, as long as you can arrive at the station within six minutes when the alarm sounds. In Älmsta, we have four shifts that together maintain readiness around the clock, every day of the week. There are several different schedule options, and we are flexible in finding a solution that suits you. However, to find a suitable solution, you should live or work in Älmsta. In this work, you never know what to expect, and it is a very diverse and exciting profession. We assist with many fires and traffic accidents, but we also respond to many other alarms. Examples include water rescue, animal rescue, and cleanup from hazardous material releases. We are also a resource for cardiac arrests and other medical emergencies. Exercises and further training are other tasks included in the position. Within our organization, there are good opportunities for further training and personal development. Qualifications When you apply to our part-time station in Älmsta, there are no requirements for prior professional experience as a firefighter—we will provide the necessary training upon employment. Instead, in our recruitment process, we look for various qualities and personal characteristics that are important in the complex work of being a firefighter. Social competence, technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and a natural aptitude for service-oriented and respectful conduct are some of the qualities we value highly and need in a team. To achieve as broad a range of competence as possible in our teams, we seek people with different backgrounds and experience. We are looking for someone with great commitment who can be available for emergency response during part of their time. To work as a firefighter, you must have a Class B driver's license and good knowledge of Swedish, as clear communication is a very important part of the work. For those who advance in the recruitment process, we organize a day with various work-related activities and an interview. Please set aside September 8 for these activities. You will also undergo a medical examination. Following this, we conduct an overall assessment to determine if you proceed to our introductory training. We seek applicants with the competence to contribute to our operations regardless of gender, gender identity or expression, age, ethnic origin, religion or other belief, sexual orientation, or disability. About the Fire and Rescue Service Our goal is for Norrtälje to be a safe municipality to live in for all residents. Part of our work is to conduct rescue operations to prevent and limit damage to people, property, and the environment—this is the area where you will have your work tasks. We work in close collaboration with ambulance, police, and other agencies, handling fires, traffic accidents, cardiac arrests, and cleanup of environmentally hazardous substances. In Norrtälje Municipality, there are six fire teams. One full-time team in Norrtälje and five part-time teams located in Älmsta, Hallstavik, Rimbo, Norrtälje, and on Blidö. The part-time stations play a very important role as the municipality is large geographically. Thanks to these stations, the municipality is a safe and secure place regardless of where you live.
