From our stroke observation unit, our alert team consisting of a nurse, nursing assistant, and physician quickly meets patients in the emergency department or directly in radiology. On the ward, we work in teams, including student teams, and our stroke unit has a total of 18 care beds. On our other unit, we evaluate patients with difficult-to-treat epilepsy in preparation for possible surgery and severe movement disorders in preparation for pump and surgical treatment. Patients come from all over Sweden for planned evaluations at our specially equipped unit, a unit that also has space for acute care beds. Here we have a total of 14 care beds. 2 position(s).
