Make a difference. Every day. Do you want to help drive and develop child and adolescent psychiatric outpatient care/intermediate care in Helsingborg? We are now seeking a chief physician or specialist physician for the BUP outpatient clinic and one for BUP intermediate care. Both units are located at Rönnowsgatan 10D in Helsingborg. You can easily get there by bike, train, or car. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) has the mission to provide specialized child and adolescent psychiatric care for patients up to 18 years old. In Northwest Skåne, there are outpatient clinics in Helsingborg, Ängelholm, and Landskrona. Our shared intermediate care includes intermediate care for children ages 6 to 18, a family unit for ages 0 to 18, a small eating disorder team, and infant services for patients between 0 and 6 years old. These services complement the efforts provided by the outpatient clinics. Inpatient care is located in Malmö. At BUP Intermediate Care in Helsingborg, we work daytime, Monday to Friday, with assessment and treatment work. Work takes place primarily in our facilities but can also occur in homes or other locations, though only exceptionally for physicians. Digital solutions are well-established and opportunities for remote work exist. In total, we are approximately 30 employees at BUP in Skåne and have been an accredited university care unit for several years, which means we have close collaboration with the Medical Faculty at Lund University in both research and education. Academic work permeates our operations. We value interest and experience in research and education in the recruitment of all our positions. We collaborate with municipalities in our catchment area to work together with patients and families to achieve the best possible care for our patients. 2 position(s). DUTIES In your role as chief physician or specialist physician with us, you will work with in-depth assessments, diagnostics, and treatment together with a dedicated multidisciplinary team. The work group is characterized by great care and concern for one another, and in addition to a drive for development, there is plenty of joy and humor. Here, there is ample room to focus on the individual patient where you as the physician have a central role and access to colleagues' broad range of treatments. As chief physician or specialist physician, you have a very important role in participating in various internal conferences and in a more overarching way contribute to and promote good and patient-safe care. We would also like to see you interested in engaging in the development of care and increasing the quality of care for the patient. You do this by contributing your medical expertise to the continuous improvement work that characterizes BUP Skåne. Here, there are good opportunities for continuing education and research based on your interests in line with the operations' and patients' needs. The position includes work as on-call physician in the consolidated child psychiatry on-call line in Region Skåne as well as supervision of ST and junior physicians. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed physician with the right to practice in Swedish healthcare. You also have specialist competence in child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, and/or child and adolescent medicine.
