The Role
As a shoulder surgeon with us, you'll become an important part of an interdisciplinary team. You work with assessment, treatment, surgery, and follow-up of patients with shoulder-related conditions. You see patients through care guarantees, insurance, and private care.
The role involves close collaboration with nurses, nursing assistants, and other team colleagues. You also contribute to developing the operations and creating efficient and safe patient flows with high quality throughout the entire care journey.
The role includes, among other things:
• conducting medical assessments, diagnostics, and treatments in shoulder surgery • operating and following up patients after treatment • making independent medical decisions and documenting in medical records and operating systems • collaborating closely with colleagues in daily patient work • participating in operational development and improvement efforts • contributing to educational and competency-building initiatives.

About You
Requirements
• specialist physician in orthopedics • experience with outpatient clinic work • good Swedish and English, spoken and written • ability to work in a structured, flexible, and solution-oriented manner.

Employment Terms
Employment Type: Probationary employment for 6 months, converting to permanent employment. Scope: 2–4 days per week. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm. Some evening shifts may occur. Location: Aleris Specialistvård Malmö Arena, Hyllie.
