The Role of Specialist Physician
In rehabilitation medicine, you will work with adults of working age who have suffered brain injuries, chronic pain, spinal cord injuries, or other injuries/conditions such as amputations, multi-trauma, post-polio that require coordinated specialized rehabilitation.
The physician team you will work with currently consists of five specialist physicians, two resident physicians, one physician assistant, and one junior physician. The operations include both outpatient and inpatient care. The clinic also operates at multiple locations beyond Jönköping, which means work in Nässjö and Värnamo may be part of the position. Travel between locations occurs during work time. Working hours are daytime, Monday-Friday, with no on-call shifts.
This is a permanent full-time position with a start date to be agreed upon.

The Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic is a region-wide operation. In Jönköping, rehabilitation is provided for patients requiring full-time or day rehabilitation. In Värnamo and Nässjö, day rehabilitation is available, and in Nässjö, there is also occupational medicine services. Read more about our operations here. Since 2006, the clinic has been accredited by the American organization CARF, which means the clinic is continuously quality-reviewed. The clinic consistently strives to be at the forefront, maintain high quality, and actively improve operations. Development occurs in a multidisciplinary manner and in collaboration with primary care, municipalities, patients, family members, and patient organizations.

Your Profile
We are seeking a specialist or senior physician in rehabilitation medicine. We would appreciate if you have an interest in digital technology and development and want to contribute your knowledge on how we can better utilize technology's possibilities to streamline and improve our work methods.
As a person, we value that you have a structured work approach and the ability to work both independently and in a team. In teamwork, you prioritize good collaboration and effective communication. It is also important that you are flexible and can adapt when circumstances or approaches change.
