The operation is located in Kristinehamn and Karlstad and has approximately 90 employees. It consists of four care wards with a total of 42 inpatient care places. About the Role As Area Manager, you have full line responsibility for the operation, employees, work environment, and finances within Psychiatric Specialties. Currently, it consists of two operations with three operations managers. You report to the Health and Medical Services Director and are part of the health and medical services leadership, with responsibility for both your area and the overall health and medical services in the region. Your Workplace Laromottagningen is one of the outpatient psychiatric care clinics. We are in an interesting position within Region Värmland regarding addiction care, particularly based on the proposal suggested by the comorbidity investigation. National efforts are in an expansion phase and LARO treatment is included in the comorbidity investigation's interim report as a prioritized treatment approach. Your Responsibilities As a psychiatric nurse at Laromottagningen, you are responsible for your patients and plan your own day based on patient and operational needs. We work in a team and help each other when needed. Work tasks include medication distribution, medication monitoring, blood sampling, and therapeutic conversations with patients. The role also includes contact with healthcare partners and social services. Collaboration with other actors is a central part of working with our patients and includes cooperation with open psychiatric clinics in the county, infectious disease clinics, and addiction centers. The department currently has approximately 60 employees and is responsible for two master's degree programs, two engineering degree programs, and one bachelor's degree program. The Master's Program in Chemical Engineering focuses on developing new materials and sustainable manufacturing processes. The department also operates a corporate research school, EXACT. Together with a multidisciplinary team, you will work with assessment, evaluation, and treatment of children and adolescents.
