The operations area has strong dependencies with other operations within the sick leave process, so good collaboration skills are required. Schedule and Cost Coordinator at TrafikverketAbout the Company Trafikverket is the client for a comprehensive infrastructure project related to the Trollhätte Canal, which forms the waterway between the North Sea and Lake Väner. The 44-meter elevation difference is managed by locks in Lilla Edet, Trollhättan, and Vänersborg. The existing lock systems date from the early 1900s and have reached the end of their service life. Trafikverket will therefore replace the existing locks with new ones at the three locations. The current assignment focuses on a new lock system in Trollhättan and is carried out in collaboration with the Swedish Maritime Administration. About the Role Trafikverket is seeking a resource consultant as a schedule and cost coordinator for the Trollhätte Canal Locks Program. You will contribute knowledge and expertise in schedule and cost coordination and be responsible for developing and maintaining schedules and cost estimates. The focus of the assignment is to be part of the client organization for the E21 New Lock and Fairway contract, which encompasses work on the new lock system in Trollhättan. The role involves close daily collaboration with both the client organization and the contractor. The contract includes both a design-build contract (TEM) in two phases, where Phase 1 is based on ABK 09 and Phase 2 constitutes a possible full turnkey contract with a target price according to ABT 06. Parallel to Phase 1, an opening bridge is also being constructed as preparatory work according to AB 04. You will work actively on both contracts. You are expected to be independent in performing the assignment and service-oriented in collaboration with the client organization and contractor. The assignment also includes knowledge transfer to Trafikverket employees. Role and Responsibilities As a schedule and cost coordinator, you will, among other things: Develop the client's schedules and cost estimates for the contract and maintain these Participate in developing the contractor's schedules and cost estimates Identify critical purchases and develop strategies for these together with the contractor Analyze and quality assure suppliers' schedules and cost estimates Analyze and quality assure suppliers' documentation for target prices Work with monitoring and forecasting based on the contract's cost estimates, including index management Support work with handling notices and change orders (ÄTA) Independently and in collaboration with the client, drive work on monitoring the contractor's ongoing invoicing If needed, assist the Road and Water department within the Large Projects business area within the scope of the assignment's allocation Competency Requirements We expect you to fulfill all of the following mandatory requirements, which must be clearly evident in your CV and other requested documentation: 1 - Swedish Category B driving license. 2 - Degree from a technical university or a combination of education and work experience that Trafikverket considers equivalent. 3 - At least five years of experience from construction companies with construction contracts in a supervisory position. The project size must have been at least 100 MSEK and employment rate at least 50%. 4 - At least five years of experience from construction companies with an employment rate of at least 80%, where more than half of the working time has consisted of bid estimation, development, analysis and maintenance of production cost estimates, pricing of additional work, purchasing work, and financial monitoring of construction work in infrastructure projects with a contract value exceeding 200 MSEK. 5 - Experience with planning work performed on a contract with a contract value exceeding 200 MSEK. The planning work must have been carried out using a scheduling software and included developing a schedule with a critical path, broken down into multiple levels. The experience may involve developing and ongoing analysis of schedules within, for example, production, assembly, purchasing, logistics, or inspections. Which software program(s) were used must be described separately. 6 - Good knowledge of AMA Construction and contract law, AB/ABT. Additional Merits 1 - It is advantageous to have experience from at least one assignment where a large collaborative contract within infrastructure, with a contract value exceeding 250 MSEK and compensation on a cost-plus basis, was part of the assignment's execution. You must have held a leading position on either the contractor's or client's side with an employment rate of at least 50%. The experience is verified through a reference assignment. 2 - It is a value-add if you are analytical, independent, and service-oriented. You are expected to take responsibility for your tasks, structure your own approach, drive processes forward, solve problems with consideration for long-term strategies, and be able to see logic and connections in complex information or environments.
