On the acute care ward, we care for, treat and evaluate children and adolescents 0–18 years old who need a few days of hospital care. Common patient groups are children with infections, kidney or heart problems. At the acute clinic for children and young people, we receive children and adolescents with acute medical, orthopedic and surgical diseases and injuries. The operation is open 24/7 and the pace varies from day to day. Within specialized pediatrics 95 E, highly specialized investigations and treatments are carried out within our day care flow.
