About Attendo Topelius We are now recruiting a licensed nurse for our Attendo Topelius facility. Attendo Topelius is a specialized residential care home for people over 65 years old, located in Nyby in northern Uppsala. Topelius has 80 beds distributed across four units/floors. 40 beds are for people with dementia and 40 beds are for people with somatic care needs. About the Role Are you a licensed nurse with an interest in elderly care who wholeheartedly wants to provide security and care to those who need support in their daily lives? Then you've come to the right place! One of our permanent nurses will be on parental leave starting in January, and we are now recruiting a substitute for her. This is a temporary position, but there will be excellent opportunities to remain at one of Attendo's senior living facilities in Uppsala afterwards. As a nurse at our facilities, you will have varied work where you both work long-term with health plans to improve quality of life for residents and make assessments and decisions about interventions in acute situations. Your responsibilities also include providing good palliative care. The transition to Close Care means that more and more specialized healthcare services are being provided at the facility. This gives you a wealth of stimulating and developmental work tasks. You have a leadership role with great opportunities to influence the operations. As a nurse within Attendo, you are valued and your competence is highly appreciated. The work is independent while you have access to many knowledgeable colleagues in our nurse networks. You are part of the team working to strengthen the individual. You enjoy supervising and delegating care tasks to care staff and are motivated by working with your colleagues to create high-quality care for those living with us. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed nurse At least one year of professional experience, preferably in elderly care Very good knowledge of Swedish language in both speech and writing Class B driver's license Meritorious if you also have Experience working in private care operations Experience in supervision Education in geriatrics or district nursing What Can We Offer You?
