Just below the helicopter pad, we operate one of the country's two units providing nationally specialized care for burn injuries. Here we work in multidisciplinary teams, of course always with the patient in focus. We care for burn patients from the acute phase, requiring advanced intensive care, through intermediate care and finally rehabilitation before the patient is discharged. This provides continuity in care and close contact with the patient and their families. The department has an operating room where our patients are operated on.
