Then a temporary position as a Clinical Research Nurse at CTC might be right for you! CTC is a full-service CRO (Clinical Research Organisation) with six research clinics throughout Sweden, three of which are located in Uppsala. One of these is a so-called First-In-Human unit located at Uppsala University Hospital, where drugs are tested for the first time in humans. CTC conducts clinical drug trials in all therapeutic areas in both early and late phases of drug development. The position as Clinical Research Nurse is a fixed-term temporary position for 6 months with the possibility of extension depending on operational needs. Job Responsibilities As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will be responsible for several of our clinical research studies. This means you will plan, coordinate the initiation and practical implementation of studies according to given regulations and rules. You are also responsible for contact with our external clients and partners. You will work in close collaboration with other clinical research nurses, physicians, and research nursing assistants, where everyone contributes their expertise in an environment that offers opportunities for personal development. The clinical care of research participants includes, among other things, specimen handling, medication management, and collection of clinical parameters such as ECG and blood pressure. You are also responsible for data management such as e-CRF and other study-related systems and documents. As a CRO, we conduct clinical studies on behalf of industry and academia, and offer a complete full-service package that includes the services, activities, and deliverables required to conduct a clinical trial – all so that new drugs reach patients as quickly as possible. We currently conduct studies from early to late phases (phases 0-IV). Studies are conducted primarily at our own research clinics, but we also collaborate with external clinics.
