The work is conducted in accordance with internal audit regulations and international professional standards. Work Tasks As an internal auditor, you will review the university's internal control and governance in various areas. You plan, conduct, and report on your audits independently or together with your colleagues. The work includes actively participating in internal audit's environmental monitoring, risk analysis, and contributing to the department's development. You report to the Internal Audit Manager and present your audits, both in writing and verbally, to the audit committee. Work within internal audit takes place in close collaboration and dialogue. You have contact with different parts and levels within the university, which requires that you establish good cooperation with the parts of the organization being audited while maintaining your independence and integrity. Qualifications We are looking for you who have: An academic degree in economics, social sciences, law, or equivalent education that the employer considers equivalent. Several years of experience in internal and/or external audit, or other professional experience that we consider equivalent. A very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and good ability to understand complex information in English. Assistant Professor in Archaeology

The Department of Archaeology, Ancient History and Conservation, Uppsala University, is seeking an Assistant Professor in Archaeology with placement at Campus Gotland in Visby. The position involves being part of a dynamic and expanding research environment with close to one hundred employees in both Visby and Uppsala. The combined departmental environment includes seven main subject areas with teaching at undergraduate, advanced, and doctoral levels: Ancient Culture and Society, Archaeology, Assyriology, Egyptology, Conservation, Osteology, and Global Environmental History. The Department's activities at Campus Gotland are in an expansive phase and currently include about thirty employees working in conservation, archaeology, and osteology. We wish to further strengthen the environment by recruiting an Assistant Professor in Archaeology. In close collaboration with other staff members, the person is expected to contribute to quality-driven teaching at undergraduate and advanced levels, course development, and pedagogical development work. Employment Period and Promotion Employment as an Assistant Professor can be held for a maximum of four years with the possibility of being considered for promotion to Associate Professor. Duties Teaching, examination, research, and administration in archaeology. The proportion of teaching, including course administration, amounts to a maximum of 50 percent. Research comprises at least 50 percent of the full-time position. Qualification Requirements Eligible for employment as an Assistant Professor in Archaeology is someone who has completed a doctoral degree in archaeology, or has equivalent scientific competence, and has demonstrated pedagogical skill. It is required that both pedagogical skill and scientific skill are relevant to the subject content of the position and the duties involved. Primarily, applicants who have completed a doctoral degree or reached equivalent competence no more than seven years before the application deadline will be considered. Assistant Facilities Manager for Campus Services

The position is located at the Buildings Department, which is part of the university administration. The university administration serves as the support and service function for university leadership and core activities in research and education. The Buildings Department is responsible for everything from strategic facility planning, renovation and new construction projects, ongoing facility administration and contract management, room and exam scheduling, to work with environmental issues, physical work environment, and facilities maintenance. The department has a strong focus on service and professional conduct and meets operational needs with high competence and quality. Good cooperation between the department's different units and functions, as well as within the university administration as a whole, is of great importance. Business development is a natural part of the work and involves being responsive, innovative, and open to testing and implementing new technologies and working methods. The Facilities Maintenance Unit, which has been Swan-certified since 2017, is responsible for facilities maintenance operations at the university and ensures that the facilities maintain the highest possible quality. The unit employs approximately 100 service assistants, six service leaders, one finance administrator, and one assistant facilities manager, with the latter three functions reporting directly to the facilities manager. Service leaders and service assistants are located at eight campus areas where they perform their duties. The assistant facilities manager is located at the Facilities Maintenance Unit and reports to the facilities manager. Duties As assistant facilities manager for the facilities maintenance unit, you will assist the facilities manager in daily operations and provide close support to the service leaders (group leaders). This involves assisting the facilities manager in leading, directing, planning, and following up on facilities maintenance operations. Main duties: Assist the facilities manager in executing tasks within personnel management and work environment responsibility at the unit, and when needed, in conducting employee and salary discussions. Assist the facilities manager with responsibility for managing the facilities maintenance unit's budget for personnel costs, operating expenses, and inventory costs. Assist the facilities manager with procurement and requisitions. Support service leaders in their leadership, work environment efforts, scheduling, and quality work. Together with the facilities manager and service leaders, drive change and development initiatives. Assist with responsibility for recruiting and onboarding new service leaders and service assistants. Participate practically in facilities maintenance operations when needed.
