Our Operations Women's health at Akademiska Hospital encompasses the sections of obstetrics and gynecology, including our reproductive medicine center. Our operations conduct both outpatient and inpatient care, with a large portion of our services consisting of highly specialized external referral care. Our goal is to provide excellent medical care with good patient experience and quality nursing. We work from a holistic perspective on collaboration between different professional categories. Research is a significant part of our operations, and we collaborate with many units within and outside the hospital. Women's health also has physicians in specialist training in obstetrics and gynecology and substitute junior doctors before AT who work in the gynecology emergency department and on the obstetric ward. Your Assignment As a resident physician, you will work across all areas of the section during the 5-year specialist training period. Work is scheduled for daytime, evening, and weekends. As a university hospital, we have a strong interest in education and research. The clinic holds resident teaching one afternoon every other week. In addition, there is continuing education at morning meetings with case reviews and lectures one hour each week for all clinic physicians. On-call duty is included; you will begin on-call shifts after approximately six months. As a university hospital, considerable teaching takes place within our operations. Mentoring of future colleagues will be part of your assignment. Your Qualifications Medical degree. Experience from locum positions and/or scientific specialization within the field is meritorious. We also appreciate an interest in gynecology and obstetrics. Your Competence We place great importance on good collaboration skills with all professions, an empathetic approach, and good initiative. You have the ability to place the patient at the center and appreciate varied tasks within both planned and acute operations. You have good clinical judgment and can prioritize under high pressure.
