Chef de Cuisine at Rotsunda Production Kitchen – Be part of shaping the future of meals Would you like to lead one of the region's most modern production kitchens and make a difference for thousands of meal guests every day? We are now seeking an experienced and committed Chef de Cuisine for our newly built production kitchen in Rotsunda. Here we produce approximately 6,000 portions per day for elderly care, hospitals, and home care services. This is a new position where you will have a key role in the continued development of the operation. About the role As Chef de Cuisine, you are responsible for the daily operations and work management in the kitchen. You lead and distribute work in production, ensure high quality in our meals, and create conditions for an engaged and well-functioning team. You will oversee approximately 15 employees and work closely with the production manager and other functions to ensure efficient, safe, and quality production. Your main responsibilities Lead and allocate daily work in production Ensure high quality, food safety, and good taste in all meals Work actively with special diets and texture-adapted meals Ensure compliance with HACCP and self-control programs Plan production and staffing for optimal operations Contribute to reducing food waste and developing efficient work methods Coach and develop employees in daily operations Participate in the operation's improvement and development work Work in the food data system Matilda (advantageous) Who are you? You have education in hotel and restaurant management with a chef specialization or equivalent You have at least 5 years of experience as a chef or equivalent You have at least 2 years of experience with personnel and budget responsibility You should have experience working with menu planning systems You have very good knowledge of gastronomy, nutrition, kitchen economics, and waste management You have analytical skills and are results-oriented You have the ability to plan and structure work efficiently You have the ability to lead and distribute work and translate decisions into action You are attentive and responsive with good knowledge of labor law and workplace environment You are creative and solution-oriented You see your significance in satisfied guests, are positive, stress-resilient, and have an easy time collaborating and communicating You take responsibility through your passion to maintain a high service and quality level in what you deliver You enjoy fast-paced days, can take own initiative, and are flexible in your professional role You speak and write Swedish fluently You have good computer skills and knowledge of Office365 Why choose Rotsunda With us, you get the opportunity to work in a newly built and modern production kitchen where development is high on the agenda.
