We are responsible for assessment and treatment of psychiatric conditions in children and young people up to 18 years of age, primarily residing in Danderyd, Lidingö, Vallentuna, and Vaxholm municipalities. We are part of BUP Stockholm, which offers care at multiple levels – from outpatient care to inpatient care. Our clinic is located at Vendevägen 90 in Danderyd, with good transportation connections via Roslagsbanan or bus to Mörby station, alternatively by subway to Mörby centrum or Danderyds sjukhus. At the clinic we meet children and young people aged 0–17 years and their next of kin. There is great variation in psychiatric issues and functional levels in our patient population, and we work according to a stepped care model to provide our patients with the right care at the right level according to BUP Stockholm guidelines. The interventions offered are evidence-based and guideline-driven and are adapted to each patient's needs. BUP Danderyd has broad and specialized expertise with about thirty employees. Our team consists of psychologists, social workers, physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and medical secretaries, many of whom have worked at the clinic for a long time.
