About the Role
The Kammarkollegiet's Administrative Law Department handles a broad spectrum of legal areas. The Public Law Unit is one of four units and consists of approximately 20 employees.
As unit chief, you will lead an operation with assignments spanning:
decisions on guarantees under the Travel Guarantee Act
registration of non-profit organizations and religious communities
establishment of burial fees
permits for marriage authority
supervision activities
matters regarding transparency in the financing of political parties
The unit is in an exciting development phase with expanded assignments and the implementation of a new travel guarantee fund.
Your Assignment
As unit chief, you have overall responsibility for the operation and lead the work forward with clarity and commitment. You:
are responsible for personnel, budget, and operational planning
lead and prioritize work based on goals and assignments
support and develop employees in their specialist roles
drive change and development initiatives
ensure efficient working methods and high quality
collaborate with other agencies and external actors
You are part of the department's management group and actively contribute to the department's strategic development.
Are You Our New Colleague?
We are seeking an experienced leader with strong legal expertise and a genuine interest in societal issues.
You have:
a master's degree (180 credits) or law degree (270 credits)
several years of experience in court service or qualified legal work at a government agency
several years of experience in leadership with personnel and budget responsibility in government operations
experience leading change, development, and strategy initiatives
very good communicative abilities in Swedish, both spoken and written
It is meritorious if you have experience with:
work within legal areas that are relevant to the unit
digitalization initiatives
