Here you work with AWS, serverless, and modern integration solutions in an environment where new functionality is built in parallel with modernizing parts of our existing landscape for the future. This makes the role suitable for you if you appreciate new development and find satisfaction in understanding how existing solutions work, why they look the way they do, and how they can be sustainably developed further. What we offer you We are in a phase where new functionality is being built in AWS while parts of our existing landscape are being advanced, which means you'll be able to influence both technology choices and direction over time. You will, among other things: Develop and advance backend solutions in AWS Work with serverless architecture and asynchronous flows Build APIs and integrations between different systems and services Participate in technical discussions about architecture, design, and development patterns Your team and workplace You'll be part of a smaller AWS team working toward e-commerce and Axfood's digital customer experiences. More about you We believe you have worked a few years as a developer and gathered experiences that have made you confident in both your craft and your technical decisions. To succeed in this role, we believe you have: Experience with backend development in AWS Experience with serverless architecture and asynchronous flows Good understanding of APIs, integrations, and distributed systems Ability to take responsibility for both solution and implementation Good communication skills in Swedish and English As a person and colleague, you are curious, responsible, and unpretentious. Do you want to use your experience where it really makes a difference in the team, in the technology, and in everyday life? Welcome to Axfood IT in Stockholm! When someone scans groceries at home, picks up their shopping bag from a locker on the way home, or gets their dinner delivered to their door, it's functionality that you and your team have built. Your team and workplace You become part of our e-commerce organization. Here we work closely with the business and have great influence over how our e-commerce-specific solutions are designed technically. Many initiatives are driven in collaboration with other parts of Axfood, but there is also room to influence, make your own decisions, and drive solutions forward. It shows in everyday life. If you see a better way to solve something, you often get the opportunity to influence both direction and implementation. In the app team, you work together with frontend and backend developers, QA, UX, requirements analysts, Product Owner, and Scrum Master. The team is small, experienced, and well-coordinated, with shared pride in what we build. Many have chosen to stay for a long time, not just because the products are technically exciting, but because they enjoy the people they work with every day. We work according to a hybrid policy and meet 3 days a week at the office at Torsplan in Stockholm. More about you You are an experienced frontend developer with several years of experience in app development in React Native. We're looking for you who already have a lead role, or who is the person others naturally turn to when technical decisions need to be made and something needs to be driven forward. To succeed in the role, we believe you also: Have experience with technically complex environments with a lot of functionality, in an agile environment with high pace and great responsibility Are used to writing automated tests Are used to collaborating with other technical leaders (architects and tech leads) and driving change in a grounded and goal-oriented way It's a merit if you have experience with e-commerce, React, or backend development. As a person, you are stable, humble, and take initiative.
