As a producer with planning responsibility, you will project manage several of the orchestra's concert productions from initial planning through implementation and follow-up. You will be responsible for coordinating the various aspects of these productions and will work closely with the artistic director, other producers, musicians, guest artists, agencies, and internal support functions. You are part of the production department led by the artistic director. The role includes budget responsibility for assigned productions and work with contracts, tour arrangements, accommodation, and other practical requirements for guest artists and conductors. You lead and prepare production meetings, monitor finances and deviations, and ensure that planning follows current agreements and internal guidelines. As the planning coordinator, you also have overall responsibility for season and venue planning for the entire concert program.
