As a technician for our client, you will have an important role where you work with maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of freight trains, freight cars, and associated technical systems. About the Position Our client is an established Swedish logistics company with a strong focus on sustainable and climate-smart transportation. You will initially be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant for our client during the first 6 months. The goal is a long-term solution where you can eventually become directly employed by the client. The recruitment process is handled by Professionals Nord and all questions regarding the position should be directed to [email protected] Responsibilities In this role, you will: Perform service, maintenance, and repair of freight trains, freight cars, and associated equipment Work with troubleshooting and resolve technical problems in mechanical and technical systems Perform preventive maintenance to ensure high operational reliability Document completed work and report any deviations Participate in improvement work and contribute to the development of work methods and procedures Contribute to a safe and efficient transport flow We are Looking for You If You: Have experience with and interest in mechanics and technical work Are practical and enjoy problem-solving Have a solution-oriented and responsible work approach Have good teamwork skills and a safety-conscious mindset Have good knowledge of Swedish It is a Plus If You Have: Experience or education in technology, vehicles, industry, workshop, or similar field Experience in welding and/or machining Forklift and/or overhead crane certification Experience with maintenance systems or documentation management We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
