The assistance assignment involves helping the customer with what they cannot do because of their mobility impairment and will involve working closely with the person in their daily life both in the customer's home and at the customer's workplace or during other activities. Adult Education encompasses education at basic and upper secondary levels, Swedish language instruction for immigrants, special education services, adapted education for adults, and vocational training at the upper secondary level. Adult Education also functions as a learning center that includes examination services, study and career counseling, library services, and educational support for students and citizens. In total, Adult Education comprises approximately 90 employees, of which approximately 65 are teachers. Adult Education is led by a School Director, Administrative Director, and three Rectors. Your Responsibilities As Rector for Swedish for Immigrants (SFI) within the municipal adult education program, you hold overall responsibility for the quality, development, and results of the operations. You lead and develop the education based on the Education Act, curriculum, governing documents, political objectives, and operational plans in close collaboration with the School Director. Fire Safety Engineer
The Fire and Rescue Service is a department under the regional administration in Region Gotland. We currently have 180 employees distributed across ten stations around the island. The island's largest station is located in Visby. Here, full-time firefighters work around the clock. The department's management and administration are also based here. The Fire and Rescue Service's prevention department, with fire safety engineers and fire inspectors, operates from Visby on assignments throughout the island. Hemse, Klintehamn, Burgsvik, Fårösund, Kräklingbo, and Slite have RIB stations. RIB is an abbreviation for rescue personnel on standby and was formerly called part-time firefighters. Our RIB personnel are on standby one week per month and are ready to respond to calls around the clock. Fårö, Dalhem, and Garda have rescue squads. Firefighters at rescue squads do not have standby duty but respond to calls when possible and needed. Your Tasks As a fire safety engineer, you participate in community planning, conduct risk assessments, and work on accident prevention to reduce the risk of fires and other accidents. You also function as an advisor on fire safety and provide support to citizens, businesses, and organizations.
